Julie Brownson is the Founder and Design Director of Studio 152 Limited. Julie graduated from KLC School of Design in 2014 and got straight to work with a partner at Barbarella Design and the team at Twickenham Film Studios. TFS had been saved from development into apartments and was undergoing major changes to become the premier TV and film making location we see today. Julie was one of the lead designers for TFS’s reception area, members bar and post-production suite. She also works with music industry teams on their workspaces.

Residential interiors are Julie’s passion and she has worked on projects in London, Hampshire and Mallorca. Over the past 10 years she has acquired extensive experience in space-planning, interior architecture, bathroom design, bespoke joinery design, art, accessories and furniture sourcing, colour and decorative schemes. This passion has led Julie to open Carmel, a retail store on Church Road in Barnes, to showcase the makers and brands she loves to work with, and whose provenance she is happy to stand behind.

Julie works with a number of highly talented architects, contractors, decorators, joiners, lighting designers and other specialists in the UK and Mallorca. These happy collaborations result in wonderful spaces, some of which you can see here.
